A product about subscription transparency has to be transparent about itself.
Sources you connect are read to find subscription details: the service name, the recurring amount, how often it bills and when it renews. Recurb never writes, sends or deletes anything, and it cannot move money.
Letting Recurb read your subscription information is stored separately from letting Recurb message you. Turning off WhatsApp alerts does not stop detection, and disconnecting a source does not silence alerts on another channel.
Recurb cannot start, stop or change a payment. It shows you what is happening and guides you — the relationship with the service stays yours.
Every record belongs to your account and is readable only by you. You can disconnect any source at any time from Profile → Data sources.
Disconnecting a source stops anything new coming from it. Deleting your account removes your subscriptions, the records behind them and your alert history.
Every subscription Recurb finds shows what it was based on, so you can check it and correct anything that is wrong.
