Privacy Policy

Recurb is designed around permission and data minimization. This policy explains what information we process, why we process it and the choices you have.
1. Information you provide
Account details such as name, email, country and mobile number; subscriptions you add manually; billing texts or statement files you choose to share; and support messages you send us.
2. Connected sources
When you explicitly connect a supported mailbox or other source, Recurb processes only the access needed for the feature you authorize. A web app cannot silently read your phone's SMS inbox; text-message evidence is processed only when you paste, share or forward it through an available Recurb method.
3. What we extract
Subscription-related information such as merchant, amount, currency, charge date, renewal and trial dates, and source references. We aim to avoid retaining unrelated content.
4. How we use information
To provide subscription detection and organization, generate reminders, show evidence and history, secure and improve the service, and respond to support requests and legal obligations.
5. Permissions and notifications
Scanning permissions and communication permissions are separate. Optional permissions can be withdrawn in Recurb settings. WhatsApp and marketing consent are separate from core subscription alerts.
6. Payments
Recurb does not currently collect or store card details in the application. If a payment provider is enabled, its own secure checkout and privacy terms will apply.
7. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Data may be processed by infrastructure and service providers only as needed to operate Recurb, secure it, communicate with you or comply with law.
8. Security and retention
We use access controls and user-scoped database policies. We retain information only as needed for the service, legal obligations and legitimate security purposes, and delete or disconnect user-controlled sources when applicable.
9. Your choices
You can update profile data, disconnect sources and revoke optional consents. Account deletion and export controls will be made available in product settings as they are completed; until then, contact admin@recurb.app for privacy requests.
10. International use
Recurb may be used across different countries. Where required, we apply applicable local privacy rights and safeguards.
11. Changes
Material updates will be reflected by updating this policy and its effective date.
